Verdier & Co.’s Executive Breakfast series recently covered ‘Successful M&A Post-Merger Integration: Leadership, Judgment, and Experience’ at The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair.

Sir Andrew Likierman
Designation: Professor at London Business School

Sir Andrew Likierman is a Professor at London Business School and served as its dean from 2009 till 2017. He has been a NED on Boards including Barclays Bank plc and the Bank of England and was Chair of the National Audit Office and Deputy Chair of Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. Sir Andrew first published his research on human judgment in the Harvard Business Review in 2020, then a guide to independent judgment for Board members with the Chartered Governance Institute in 2021. A book is due in 2023.

Raphael Fainac
Designation: Chief Transformation Officer of Apleona

Raphael Fainac focuses on developing, communicating, and translating Divisional and Group strategies into comprehensive execution plans and results. He is currently Chief Transformation Officer of Apleona, sits on the Board of the International Division of Apleona with responsibility for Strategy and M&A. Prior to that, and amongst others, Raphael spent 3 years at SPIE UK as its Business Transformation Director focusing on change management, business transformation and post-merger integration.
