Verdier & Co. has joined the Better Business Act (BBA) – a coalition of over 3,000 UK businesses advocating for a modernisation of UK company law to empower directors to consider people and planet alongside profit.
According to the Institute of Directors (to which Verdier & Co. belongs), the proposed change is backed by 77% of UK voters and leading business organisations.
“The BBA campaign seeks to modernise the UK Companies Act, empowering directors to also act in the wider interest of society and the environment.”
As part of our involvement, we are engaging with policymakers to support the proposed reforms, including through direct correspondence with our local MP.
