Verdier & Co.’s Executive Breakfast series at The Lansdowne Club featured a ‘Roundtable with B Corp Business Leaders in Your Industry.’ Executives from organizations including 3i Group plc, Amundi, Dun & Bradstreet, General Atlantic, and more participated. Discussions covered Sustainability Strategy, global trends in sustainability skills, and Board ESG Oversight. Insights were shared by Katy Jarratt from Spencer Stuart and Dr. Serge Y. from Invest Industrial, both recognized leaders in the field.

Dr Serge Younes
Designation: Head of Sustainability at Investindustrial

Serge is the Head of Sustainability at Investindustrial leading a team of sustainability experts to deliver tangible impact and value in the investment process and portfolio companies. Serge is active in shaping ESG in the PE industry, as a member of the Private Equity Advisory Committee at the UN PRI, the SBTi Financial Sector Expert Advisory Group, within Initiative Climat International (ICI) chairing the Net Zero workgroup and a member of the InvestEurope Responsible Investment Roundtable. Serge was previously a Director at Accenture Strategy and a Director of Sustainability Services at WSP Group. He is an Engineer with a PhD in Renewable Energy.

Katy Jarrat
Designation: Leader of the Sustainability Practice at Spencer Stuart

Katy Jarratt is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Energy and Industrial practices and oversees the firm’s sustainability work in the UK, which spans functional sustainability leadership, climate change technology, climate and sustainability private equity funds, and non-executive and advisory board roles relating to sustainability and societal impact. Katy has deep experience advising clients across industries on sustainable leadership, including recruiting chief sustainability officers, heads of ESG and other related functional leaders. She also works with clients in sustainable energy and climate change funds.
